THE FARM MARKET @ TROO

Tucked into the rolling hills of Wisconsin’s Driftless Area, The Farm Market at Turkey Ridge Organic Orchard offers more than just fresh produce. It’s a gathering place rooted in community and season. Unlike our online storefront, where anyone can shop from afar, the Farm Market is a local hub where neighbors and visitors can purchase goods in advance, pick up their orders, and discover what’s fresh that week. It’s also the spot to hear the latest news, seasonal happenings, and special events, keeping you connected to the rhythm of farm life and the traditions that make our corner of Wisconsin unique.

Stop In For A Visit & Sample Our Goods!

Visit The Farm Market daily during season from 9-5 daily and enjoy a fresh sampling of our fresh-pressed cider, jams and jellies! Load up on some to take home while you’re here! We offer a variety of items from pantry items and honey to limited edition TROO T-Shirts.

THIS SEASON AT THE FARM MARKET

A Berry Bold Debut at TROO

Strawberries and rhubarb have arrived, homemade jams and jellies are already underway, and more crops are beginning to spring to life.

We are excited to introduce our Strawberry Rhubarb Jelly and her spicy sister, Habanero Strawberry Rhubarb Jelly this season!

As new produce ripens and fresh goods are made, we’ll continue adding products to The Farm Market throughout the season. From early harvest favorites to apples making their seasonal debut, there’s always something new growing around here.

Check back often for updates, but remember, Mother Nature writes the final schedule. Crop timing, harvests, and availability may vary with the season, weather, and whatever surprises the fields decide to bring.

Fresh From Seed to Season

The growing season is well underway at TROO Life Farms this May! Using organic seeds from Seed Savers, we’ve planted a beautiful lineup of cool-season favorites including broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, cabbage, peas, and green beans, with even more on the way.

Over the last days of May, as we wrapped up planting the final cool-season crops, the next chapter of the season began taking root. Ground cherries made their way into the fields alongside tomatoes and peppers, and summer is already beginning to peek around the corner, one row at a time.

From crisp garden harvests to sweet summer flavors and hearty fall favorites, it’s shaping up to be one tasty season here at TROO. Keep checking back to see what’s sprouting, thriving, and making its way from our fields to your table.

Last Call for Pork and Applewood!

The shelves and wood stacks are getting lighter, and this may be your last call for a couple of seasonal favorites at TROO.

Ground Pork Ready for the Freezer

Roughly 2 pounds of frozen ground pork at $4.50/lb, perfect for grilling, soups, burgers, spaghetti sauce, breakfast skillets, and comfort-food cooking.

Applewood with Orchard Charm

Whether you’re smoking meats, gathering around a firepit, or dreaming up your next rustic DIY project, applewood brings something special to the table. This slow, steady-burning hardwood gives meats a mild, slightly sweet smoke flavor that’s especially delicious with pork and poultry. It also makes beautiful natural décor and craft material for creative projects.

Check Back When Our 2026 Season Begins!

We’re busy planting, growing, and preparing for another fresh season at The Farm Market! Our first crops are beginning to spring to life.

Each season brings its own gifts, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans.  Storms, frost, or drought can quickly change what’s available, or even take a crop away altogether. Our produce is always seasonal and dependent on the harvest. While we price our produce with market value in mind, we work hard to keep it affordable for families, ensuring everyone can have access to fresh, organic food.
